Caecilia is born in Geneva and grew up on tennis courts. At the age of 12, she left home to start a professional tennis career, together with a certain Roger Federer... After 10 years of brilliant career (4th player in Switzerland and WTA 256) and a chronic shoulder injury, she returned to school.

In 2005, she first obtained a master in Information Systems with a minor in International Relations. Fascinated by new technologies and visual arts, she then decided to specialize in computer science. After a master of advanced studies in Computer Graphics at EPFL, she obtained a PhD in 2010 from MIRALab-University of Geneva for her research work in motion capture.

She met Sylvain in this research context where she quickly noticed a common interest in audiovisual production. Experienced diver, she is indeed underwater camerawoman and photographer. Her role at ArtiFX focuces on 3D aspects and shooting in extreme environments.
